Miniature Monday - Luka Rings in the New Year

Welcome to the first Miniature Monday of 2025! We thought we'd do something a little special to celebrate the new year, and show off one of the rarest and most difficult-to-find of all the Aberrants. The snake-like, tentacled Luka is not only a very rare figure, but also one of our favourites from the line.

As you may be able to spot, there are a few small scan errors we still need to clean up, but he's an impressive figure regardless. Luka was released as a metal miniature in a blister pack with two other equally rare Aberrants. Fortunately, we managed to acquire a full set so we can once again make them available to all you Trinity fans. Stats-wise, Luka was an interesting mix. He was a 1st Caste Aberrant, leaving him low on the power scale but with a low point cost that made him easy to find space for in a Cadre. He relied on his Ice Storm Psi Power for ranged combat, blanketing large areas of the battlefield with deadly cold. Despite his much smaller stature, he also had the same Ego power as Naushka, allowing him to ignore rout rolls and keep on fighting when things seemed dire. Luka was also a menace in melee, with whipping Arm Tendrils and a very high Close Combat stat of 5, on par with Williams and Gomorrah. His Flexible Skin helped protect him from enemy attacks, and his impressive 8 Health made him hard to put down. If he was injured, he could use Regeneration once per battle to heal a wound and stay in the fight even longer. For his low cost, Luka was hard to beat in terms of tenacity. Altogether, he was a flexible fighter who could make a good anchor for an Aberrant formation. We look forward to seeing him causing trouble on tabletops again very soon.

We here at Faceless Publishing hope everyone had a great Christmas season and wish you all the best in 2025. We are very excited for later in the year, when we resurrect Luka and all the other Trinity: Battleground figures.
